Summer again

Hey everyone!
Its been a while. Now its almost summer again. The weather is not too bad and its Hafengeburtstag in Hamburg. Thats exactly what I need after a hard week.

Its been a while

Yes, it has been a while. This is my first posting this year... I have been busy during the last month but the last 4 weeks I have been out making a few pictures. I am now looking forward to the next semester and I am willing to find enough time besides studying to make more pictures. I mean, summer is coming, you cant spend all of your time in the university or at home learning... ;-)

Hey everyone! I have been home from Istanbul for a whole weak now, and after a busy week, doing all the stuff I was supposed to do when I was in Turkey, I am now in a calme mood. Here are some visual impressions from Istanbul:

The time in Istanbul passed very fast, as usual while travelling. I enjoyed the trip very much. Though I have only had a first glance to the big city, I feel like I have seen some places, usual tourist dont see. My german friend in Istanbul told us, which of the touristic sights we had to see and guided us around. And as there were the Turkish sacrifice-days, called Bayram, we also had the opinion to see the slaughtery of sheep.(which was not beautiful but very interesting).
Now its late and I need to go to bed.

Istanbul is coming closer

Heyho!
Tomorrow morning our flight with Lufthansa to Istanbul takes off from Airport Hamburg - Fuhlsbüttel at about 5 am. I hope I can get off the bed that early and coffee shows its effect this early ;) I am very looking forward to the trip and the city of Istanbul. Tomorrow night we will probably watch a football match between Besiktas Istanbul and Ankaraspor. I am kind of excited and will present you some fotos and storys, when I am back sunday in a week!

I have not been out, taking pictures for a while. For that reason, here you see an old picture I took about 1 month ago. Its a building of the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg.
Next weekend I will go to Istanbul and make a lot of pictures for sure. I dont have certain plans, what to do in Istanbul yet, but I am looking forward to such a big different city. If I find the time, I will go to a football game of Besiktas or Galatasaray Istanbul.

what a sunday...

Good evening. I just watched some fotos from last weekend in the tropical aquarium in Hagenbecks Zoo. Here is the finest choice:



The aquarium was really a good choice of spending our sunday afternoon. They had a lot of amazing exotic animals: scorpions, crocodiles, big spiders, snakes (a green viper eg.), sharks, exotic birds, tons of reptiles etc.
Then we went to the Blockhouse and enjoyed some brilliant steaks. And before we finished the day with some Mexikaner (shots that taste like bloody marry but better) in the "Lucky star" at Kiez, we had some nice chilled hours and beers in the Thomas Read irish pub.
A perfect sunday. Cheers!

And on last Sunday I went with a few friends from Heilbronn to the Tropenaquarium. There I made some really exceptional fotos.
